YO-YO TRAIL 24 HOURS AROUND KEBNEKAISE
In just 24 hours, we aim to run the legendary YO-YO-trail, a brutal and beautiful route circling the Kebnekaise massif through the wild landscapes of Sápmi
From Nikkaluokta, through the dramatic valleys of Vistas and Nallo, across rocky mountain passes and deep into the wilderness surrounding Kebnekaise.
The YO-YO-trail is a 100-kilometer journey through some of the most spectacular terrain in Sápmi - suspension bridges, glacier views, river crossings, exposed ridgelines and endless Arctic landscapes beneath the midnight sun.
In just 24 hours, we aim to run the entire route.
No crowds. No finish-line banners.
Just us, the mountains, and whatever weather decides to arrive.
A raw and cinematic endurance project built around movement, storytelling and the feeling of being very small in a very big landscape.
Otto Blücker and Henrik Åhlund are two Swedish adventurers and storytellers with a shared background in endurance, filmmaking and mountain exploration.
Over the past years, they have spent countless days in the Scandinavian wilderness , running long-distance trails, documenting remote landscapes and creating projects centered around movement, nature and environmental awareness.
In 2025, they completed a 440-kilometer run across Kungsleden while simultaneously producing documentary work connected to glacier awareness in the Swedish mountains.
Now, they return north for a new challenge: completing the legendary YOYO-trail around Kebnekaise in under 24 hours - carrying both cameras and gear through one of Europe’s last true wilderness areas.
